March is Women's Month, and I spent most of it looking around at the women in my life and thinking "I am surrounded by the most remarkable people."
Everywhere I look, women are building, creating, advocating, and imagining better worlds into existence. They're opening coffee shops that become the heart of a community. They're curating beauty and making it accessible to everyone. They're coaching elite athletes and breathing confidence into young girls who need someone in their corner. They're writing books that reckon honestly with history, that guide families through hard seasons, and invite us into healing. They're fighting for farmers who feed us. They're building bilingual platforms so girls around world can imagine themselves among the stars. They're sitting with the dying in Western Kenya and reminding them — and us — that love is always the answer.
This month I spotlighted nine of these women across my Instagram, I hope you'll check out them out.
These women have one thing in common: they dared to imagine a world that didn't exist yet, and then did something about it.
Research confirms that when women are empowered to lead, the effects can be transformative for everyone.

Female leaders have been shown to increase productivity, enhance collaboration, inspire organizational dedication, and improve fairness. In fact, the mere presence of a female leader leads people to anticipate fairer treatment and greater trust across an organization.
While there's a long way to go before we reach equity, I'm continually inspired by the women I encounter who are defying the obstacles and creating good, beautiful, and worthy things to put into the world.
I encourage you to identify the women around you who are doing something remarkable and let them know how they've impacted you.
Until next month,
Cathi
